Lively Arts welcomes Spike Lee—activist and acclaimed filmmaker of the racially sweltering Do the Right Thing and Malcolm X—whose most recent work, the heartbreaking documentary When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, details the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and the inefficacy of the efforts to support its victims. In a rare Stanford appearance, Lee discusses recent and upcoming projects.
