Latin America: Opportunities and Challenges

A terrific panel will guide us through this vast area of 30+ countries, major languages Spanish and Portuguese, population of 548,500,000 with their insight and experience. Opportunities abound as do the challenges!

Panelists include:

Solana Crawford (Argentina), DesignAboutTown - Founder of this San-Francisco-based web design firm, whose designs in communications and software and won many awards over the past 10 years. Solana is Argentinian and the firm has a team of designers based in Argentina.

Matt Perez (Mexico), NearSoft - Nearsoft provides high tech companies the benefits of software development nearshore outsourcing while minimizing the risks through 1) experienced local project management and 2) a work force in Mexico that is one time zone away, instead of twelve.

Sergio Monsalve, Norwest Venture Partners- Sergio brings to NVP over 12 years of operational experience in marketing, product management, business development, sales and finance from a wide range of business and consumer technology companies. Sergio is focused on investments in the consumer internet, media and software sectors. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford, an MBA from the Harvard Business School and has a particular interest in Latin America.
