Boasting a no-holds-barred style and unparalleled musicianship, the Meridian Arts Ensemble is a hip, high-energy sextet that redefines the brass genre. Composed of five brass players plus a percussionist, the group makes its Lively Arts debut juxtaposing the classic contemporary voice of Milton Babbitt with those of Frank Zappa, Silvestre Revueltas, and Stanford faculty composer Mark Applebaum.
