In the season finale of Sundays with the St. Lawrence, the St. Lawrence String Quartet continues its yearlong survey of a vast cross section of the string quartet repertoire. The foursome takes on Haydn’s G Major String Quartet and then leaps to Stanford composer Jonathan Berger’s newly minted String Quartet No. 4. A lush and romantic early Piano Quintet by Erich Wolfgang Korngold concludes the program with pianist Stephen Prutsman.
