In the second Sundays with the St. Lawrence concert, the St. Lawrence takes on Beethoven’s vast String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp Minor and Osvaldo Golijov’s Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind, a work of meditation, prayer, song, and memory inspired by the writings of the great Kabbalist rabbi of Provence, featuring clarinetist Todd Palmer on five different instruments.
